About this Map
The Gray Garrison is a large stone fortress whose multiple floors combine military architecture with the remnants of its former public and memorial functions. Broad halls and formal chambers are linked by corridors, stairs and smaller side rooms, creating a structure that can hold several encounters without feeling like a featureless barracks. Displays, relic spaces and fortified rooms give different sections recognizable purposes while maintaining the same severe stone character throughout.
In Wrath of the Righteous: The Worldwound Incursion, the garrison provides a major assault site in Kenabres. For a GM, the layered layout makes progression easy to stage: defenders can fall back floor by floor, stairs become natural choke points, and characters can choose whether to clear side rooms or push directly toward an objective. Larger chambers provide room for set-piece fights, while tighter corridors reward careful scouting. The map also works as a captured crusader keep, occupied civic fortress or fallen military museum in another campaign.
