High atop a windswept mesa, deep within the barren heart of the desert, lies the Whispersand Encampment — silent, sunbaked… and soaked in blood.

Tents flap listlessly in the hot wind. Campfires lie cold. Crates stand half-open, their contents scattered. But no voices call out. No footsteps echo. The only signs of life — or death — are the crimson stains smeared across the stone… and a second, stranger color: green, slick and sickly, leading to the cliff’s edge.

Far below, in the shadows of a narrow canyon, bones glisten in the sun. Entire skeletons, cracked open. Shallow pits, recently unearthed. Drag marks that vanish into the sand.
