Perched on the frozen shore, the Straumgard Fisher Hut stands as a humble but ingenious piece of Norse-like craftsmanship. Built on sturdy wooden supports above the icy ground, the hut keeps its stores safe from the salt-heavy spray of the northern sea. Frost clings to the planks, and the air smells faintly of brine, smoke, and fish — the scent of survival in a land that offers little mercy.
