RûnDûm Inn is a large multi-level roadside establishment built around a central public house and extensive accommodation. Common rooms, dining space and service areas occupy the busiest parts of the building, while numerous guest rooms and private quarters spread across the upper levels. Its size allows the inn to function as a destination in its own right rather than a single tavern room with beds attached.

For a GM, the many floors and rooms support social scenes, searches and chases that can continue without leaving the property. Guests can be separated by floor, staff routes provide quieter movement between public areas and stairways become important once a confrontation spreads. The inn works as a major coaching stop, urban hostelry, travelers' lodge or recurring campaign hub where strangers, rumors and trouble naturally arrive under the same roof.
