About this Map
At the foot of a rocky escarpment, a cavern-shrine opens in the stone, hidden near the dry course of what was once the Gray Road. In gentler days this was a humble fane — one of countless small shrines that dotted old Sarkoris, where folk honored gods both true and half-imagined.
That age is gone. When the Worldwound tore open, this holy place was seized and defiled, its altars bent to the worship of Baphomet and its halls made a waystation for the Templars of the Ivory Labyrinth. Yet beneath the corruption, the bones of something sacred remain — a sanctuary first raised to the very deity one among you holds dear.
The demons have painted their filth over what was once a place of light, but stone remembers. To reclaim this fane is to tear a foothold of the Abyss from the earth and return it to grace — to answer desecration with devotion, and to prove that no shrine, however fallen, is beyond redemption while heroes still draw breath.
