About this Map
Two hundred feet below the shattered surface of the Weeping Hills, your descent ends in a place where the world has forgotten its own laws. A vast cavern opens before you, drowned in the sullen crimson glow of a river of molten rock that winds — slowly, almost with purpose — between yawning pits in the stone. The heat strikes like a physical blow; the air hangs thick with venting fumes, and the cracked ceiling thirty feet overhead exhales hissing gas from a hundred fissures. This is no natural place. The lava is fed as much by the thinness between this world and the Abyss as by any fire of the earth, and it flows with an unsettling, watchful patience.
At the heart of the chamber, upon a lonely ledge ringed by that creeping fire, rests a slab of smoky crystal. Within it, half-veiled by the clouded stone, lies an ancient human form — mummified, untouched, preserved through ages of ruin. This is all that remains of Delamere's Tomb: a single unbreakable coffin, warded by faith and by the grace of Erastil, standing defiant amid a world that has crumbled into flame. Where everything else was consumed, this endures.
And you are not alone. Atop the crystal waits a lone figure in soiled, battered armor — a man with exhaustion carved into his eyes and a voice that rasps of shame and despair. He speaks of failure, of a life he means to end. Yet something colder stirs beneath his words, and the choice of what happens next may rest in your hands alone.
