A winding woodland trail follows the edge of a swift brook, curving between thick vegetation, scattered stones, and a long fallen tree. Rocky outcrops break the water along the bank, while damaged wooden rails mark portions of the path before disappearing beneath the surrounding greenery.
The bend in the road and dense forest conceal what lies ahead, creating a natural setting for a roadside ambush, guarded passage, or chase beside the water. Characters can remain on the open trail, move through the undergrowth, or use the fallen timber and rocky riverbank as cover.
