The site feels temporary but busy, built to support people working far from town rather than to survive a siege.

That makes the camp useful for encounters where civilians, supplies, and terrain all matter. Log piles and structures provide hard cover, the open central ground leaves characters exposed, and the surrounding forest offers attackers several concealed approaches. In Troubles in Otari, the camp is part of the local lumber operation and therefore matters to the town beyond a single fight. A GM can use the same map for sabotage, defense, negotiation with workers, a nighttime raid, or an investigation after something has gone wrong. Outside the adventure it functions as a logging camp, frontier worksite, construction camp, or any temporary settlement carved out of dense woods.
