The Knurly House is a curved timber residence embedded in an unusually colored forest. Its compact rooms and bent footprint make the structure feel handmade and eccentric, while the surrounding vegetation presses close enough that exterior and interior encounters can easily connect.

For a GM, the house is a strong character location. Tight rooms support investigation and roleplay, while windows, doors and the forest edge provide several ways for trouble to intrude. The map can serve as a fey cottage, hermit's home, witch house or remote dwelling whose architecture already suggests that its owner does not follow ordinary conventions.
