About this Map
Tyrant's Wrath pushes from worked stone into raw cavern, combining chambers, rough tunnels, mossy or debris-strewn spaces, shrine-like areas, and a deep vertical shaft that dominates part of the complex. The uneven boundaries between masonry and natural rock make the dungeon feel as though an older structure has been broken open and absorbed by the underground landscape.
For a GM, the changing terrain supports a strong climax. Narrow cave approaches funnel movement, built rooms create defensible positions, and the central drop introduces a constant vertical danger. Rubble and side recesses provide ambush points without cluttering every room, while the mixture of shrine and ruin gives clear places for important scenes or objectives. In Tyrant's Grasp the location carries the weight of the campaign's confrontation with the forces surrounding Gallowspire. Outside that context it can become a fallen tyrant's crypt, corrupted subterranean sanctuary, shattered fortress basement, or deep ruin where architecture finally gives way to the earth beneath it.
