About this Map
Doeswen's Exile is a descent through rough caverns and collapsed masonry where natural stone has swallowed the remains of older construction. Narrow passages, broken walls, chained or gated sections, rubble piles, and exposed spans over darkness make the route feel unstable and isolated. The map keeps the characters close to danger because there is rarely enough open floor to simply step around a problem.
For a GM, the site works best as a pressure dungeon. Chokepoints make retreat and reinforcement difficult, ruined masonry provides intermittent cover, and the transition between cave and built structure gives every chamber a different tactical texture. In Tyrant's Grasp, Doeswen's Exile belongs to the grim depths encountered during Last Watch. Removed from that story, it becomes a forgotten prison, collapsed underground refuge, exile's hideout, ruined dwarven passage, or any dungeon where the safest route is also the most obvious one.
