About this Map
Danger at the Dyeworks presents a compact industrial yard built around dye vats, pigment pools, worktables, storage, flower or herb beds, and adjoining workshop space. Bright liquids and colored materials give the site a strong visual identity, while the crowded layout makes it clear that this is a working business rather than a decorative courtyard.
For a GM, the vats are natural encounter anchors. They can provide cover, hazards, evidence, or objectives, while narrow paths between work areas constrain movement. The neighboring rooms let an investigation shift from open yard to enclosed workshop without changing maps, and the unusual materials make accidental spills or contamination easy to justify. In Tyrant's Grasp: Last Watch, the dyeworks helps make Vigil feel like a functioning city under threat. Elsewhere it can be a textile workshop, alchemical dye house, tannery, pigment mill, or industrial crime scene where the contents of a single vat may matter more than the people standing beside it.
