Straumgard Jarl House is a broad northern longhouse built around a central hearth, with a high table, private sleeping rooms, storage, pantry space, trophies, pelts, and sturdy timber furnishings. Snow outside and the heavy wooden construction make the building feel like the social and political center of a settlement designed for a harsh climate.

For a GM, the long central hall is an ideal stage for audiences, feasts, accusations, and fights that begin as conversation. The hearth divides movement without closing the room, side chambers give important NPCs somewhere private to retreat, and the storage areas provide practical objectives during a search or raid. Straumgard Jarl House can serve as a chieftain's residence, clan hall, northern manor, village council house, or fortified communal home. Its layout is large enough to support a crowd but intimate enough that a confrontation at the high table can involve everyone in the room.
