About this Map
The Temple of Gogunta lies deep in a natural cavern network, where several narrow tunnels converge on a larger shrine chamber. The central sacred space is marked by a dark geometric altar or ritual feature, while rough stone walls and branching passages keep the approach irregular and uncertain.
The layout gives a GM a simple but effective tactical puzzle. Every tunnel can become an avenue of reinforcement, the shrine chamber is easy to defend once occupied, and characters entering from one passage may have little idea what is approaching from another. The central feature provides a natural objective for a ritual, desecration, negotiation, or final stand. In Shattered Star's Curse of the Lady's Light, the temple belongs to the boggard territory around the larger site. Outside that context it can serve as an underground cult shrine, amphibious sanctuary, monster temple, or hidden cavern chapel whose power is concentrated in one unmistakable room.
