About this Map
The Boggard Village occupies a compact patch of wetland and forest, with numerous small thatched huts clustered around central paths and communal space near the water. The buildings are close enough to create a maze of short sightlines, while the shoreline and surrounding vegetation provide alternate approaches that do not depend on the obvious path through the settlement.
For a GM, the village supports infiltration, negotiation, and open combat without needing a different map for each phase. Huts provide cover and interior spaces, the water creates a natural escape or flanking route, and the crowded layout lets enemies disappear between structures instead of standing in the open. In Shattered Star's Curse of the Lady's Light, this is one of the distinctive settlements encountered near the larger dungeon site. Elsewhere it works as a boggard village, marshfolk settlement, lakeside tribal camp, or any small wetland community built for creatures comfortable moving between land and water.
