The Wreck of the Impdrake lies half-submerged in shallow marsh or coastal water, its broken hull opened to the elements and surrounded by reeds, mud, scattered rocks, and drowned timbers. The vessel is no longer a self-contained ship map. Instead, its ribs, torn decking, and exposed hold become pieces of terrain within a wetland encounter.

For a GM, the wreck creates several layers of movement in a compact space. Characters can approach through water, clamber onto the remains, drop into the broken interior, or use the hull as cover while threats move through the marsh around them. In Shattered Star's Curse of the Lady's Light, the wreck forms one of the distinctive locations encountered on the approach to the larger complex. Outside that adventure it works as a swamp wreck, pirate grave, stranded riverboat, or scavenger site where the best salvage lies in the least stable part of the battlefield.
