About this Map
The Woodcarver's House is a compact craftsman's home where work and daily life share the same small footprint. A practical workshop occupies part of the building, with tools, timber and the clutter of carving close at hand, while the living and sleeping area sits only a room or two away. Outside, boxes and stored materials extend the work space into the yard and help the property feel occupied rather than arranged for an encounter.
For a GM, the tight plan is useful precisely because every area has a purpose. Visitors can meet the owner at the workbench, search among tools and unfinished pieces, or move into the private quarters without crossing a maze of meaningless rooms. The surrounding wilderness gives characters space to watch the house before approaching or to circle it when a conversation goes wrong. In Strength of Thousands: Spoken on the Song Wind, it serves as a grounded domestic location amid more exotic sites; in another campaign it can stand in for any rural artisan's home, workshop or secluded cottage.
