Walkena's Forces is a dense jungle battlefield where enormous palms, broad ferns and closely packed vegetation make concealment as important as distance. Open pockets appear between the growth, but no route stays clear for long, allowing groups to approach one another through several irregular lanes rather than across a flat clearing.

In Strength of Thousands: Secrets of the Temple-City, the map supports forces moving and fighting beneath the Mwangi canopy. For a GM, the vegetation naturally breaks ranged sight lines, creates ambush positions and gives retreating enemies numerous places to disappear. It is equally useful for patrol clashes, pursuit through heavy jungle or a larger skirmish where both sides know that anyone who leaves the open ground may become difficult to track only moments later.
