About this Map
Piercing the Wall focuses on a breached section of fortified city defense, where broken masonry and a newly opened route turn a once-solid barrier into contested ground. The damaged wall creates an obvious point of pressure: defenders can use surviving stone as cover, while attackers must funnel through rubble and narrow openings before they can spread into the space beyond.
For Strength of Thousands: Secrets of the Temple-City, the map captures the moment when a protected boundary stops being dependable. That makes it especially useful for running an assault in stages rather than placing both sides in an open field. Characters can hold the breach, fight among debris, retreat behind the surviving fortification or counterattack through the same opening. Outside the Adventure Path, it works for sieges, collapsed gates and any urban encounter where a single gap in a defensive line suddenly becomes the most important few yards on the map.
