About this Map
Flooded Manor takes the recognizable bones of a once-comfortable estate and lets water dictate how the building can be explored. Rooms, corridors and furnishings remain visible beneath or beside flooded sections, turning ordinary domestic architecture into a sequence of difficult crossings and isolated pockets. Waterlogged furniture, broken interiors and decaying walls preserve the manor's former purpose while making it clear that the building can no longer be moved through as it was intended.
The large multi-part layout gives a GM room for an extended investigation rather than a single room encounter. Dry chambers can become temporary refuges, submerged passages can hide routes or hazards, and stairways or changes in elevation create meaningful transitions between sections of the estate. Characters may need to choose between pushing through water, searching for a safer route or splitting up to reach separated rooms. In Strength of Thousands: Spoken on the Song Wind, the location carries the weight of a ruined residence reclaimed by the environment. Outside the Adventure Path, it works equally well as a drowned noble house, abandoned riverside manor or partially submerged dungeon where movement and visibility are never quite reliable.
