About this Map

Liralarue's Clockworks is an underground complex of pale stone corridors, circular junctions, machinery spaces, rubble, and carefully built passages winding between natural voids. The map's geometry feels engineered rather than organic: narrow corridors branch with deliberate precision, while isolated chambers and mechanical areas give the dungeon the rhythm of a facility designed around moving parts and controlled access.

For a GM, the structure naturally supports exploration under pressure. Long corridors create clear lines of approach, bends and junctions are perfect places for traps or ambushes, and the separated chambers allow different mechanisms, clues, or guardians to be encountered without turning the site into one enormous room. The clockwork theme makes doors, hazards, moving walls, timed devices, or mechanical objectives feel at home here even when they are added for another campaign. In Seven Dooms for Sandpoint, Liralarue's Clockworks is part of the adventure's stranger subterranean layers; elsewhere it can become an artificer's maze, ancient machine vault, automated dungeon, or buried workshop.
