About this Map
Forgotten Light is a weathered coastal structure reduced to a compact ruin, its timber interior broken by collapsed beams, debris, damaged walls, and the remnants of rooms that once served a practical purpose. The surviving shell sits close to the shoreline and vegetation, making the building feel exposed to weather and time rather than safely enclosed from the world outside.
The map is useful for more than a simple ruin fight. Narrow rooms and piles of debris create difficult movement, intact corners offer temporary cover, and the structure's small footprint keeps every sound or movement relevant. A GM can run it as a search through a failed beacon, a shelter during bad weather, a smugglers' stop, or an encounter where something has taken advantage of the abandoned building. In Seven Dooms for Sandpoint it carries the atmosphere of a forgotten coastal site; elsewhere it can serve as a ruined lighthouse outbuilding, signal station, watch post, or storm-battered refuge.
