The first book of Tyrant’s Grasp ends not with triumph, but revelation.
Salishara’s Scriptorium is a study in obsession—a sanctum of parchment and whispers, where spiders spin both webs and scripture. The walls seem to breathe with memory, each page pulsing faintly under unseen eyes. The deeper one reads, the less the words belong to the living.
Beyond it sprawls the Deathbower, a garden where life has learned to imitate death. The hedges form a smiling skull, and the air hums with the perfume of endings. Here, the dead bloom like flowers, and the soil remembers every step.
Together they form the threshold of Tyrant’s Grasp: the end of Book 1, where the heroes leave behind mortality’s illusion and begin to understand what dying truly means.
