About this Map
The Temple of Xar-Azmak lies beneath the coast in a sequence of submerged and partially flooded chambers where worked stone gives way to water, coral-like growth and mineral deposits. The architecture still reads as ceremonial, but the sea has become part of the floor plan, turning pools, channels and broken crossings into practical obstacles rather than background decoration. Strange stonework and skymetal-era details give the complex an identity distinct from an ordinary coastal ruin.
The map supports exploration that constantly shifts between solid footing and exposed water. Narrow connections can be defended, larger ritual chambers give set-piece encounters room to breathe, and flooded sections create alternate routes or dangerous boundaries. Within Rusthenge, the temple works as a deeper expression of the ancient forces beneath the settlement, but it can also serve as a drowned shrine, alien ruin or coastal cult complex in another campaign.
