About this Map

Stonehome is a compact fortified outpost built from pale stone rooms around a central corridor, with defensive architecture, barracks-like spaces, storage, stairs, and multiple levels extending above and below the main floor. The structure feels practical rather than grand: it was made to shelter and defend a small force, not impress visitors.

For a GM, the layered plan creates a strong short dungeon. Narrow halls and doors form natural choke points, stairs let defenders fall back through the building, and separate rooms provide believable places for supplies, records, survivors, or signs of whatever happened here. Damage and bloodstains can turn the outpost into an investigation before it becomes a fight. In Rusthenge, Stonehome belongs to the adventure's network of remote and ancient sites. Outside that context it can serve as a dwarven watch post, frontier redoubt, isolated garrison, ruined signal fort, or small mountain keep whose compact footprint makes every room tactically relevant.
