About this Map
The Lonely Barrow is a compact ancient tomb of dark stone corridors and isolated chambers. Its construction feels deliberate and severe, with narrow approaches leading into enclosed spaces where rubble and old masonry leave little room to maneuver. The barrow's restrained layout keeps attention on each threshold and chamber rather than overwhelming the table with a sprawling maze.
That makes it particularly effective for a tomb encounter built around anticipation. Tight corridors limit formation changes, doors and corners conceal what lies only a few squares away, and the small number of chambers lets every discovery carry weight. In Kingmaker, the Lonely Barrow functions as one of the Stolen Lands' buried pieces of history. Elsewhere, it can serve as an old warrior's tomb, sealed crypt or forgotten roadside burial mound.
