About this Map
Aldori Manor is a substantial noble residence built around a refined central hall and a network of private rooms. Bedrooms, studies, sitting areas and service spaces branch from tiled corridors, while staircases and more decorative chambers distinguish the public portions of the house from the areas where residents actually live. Furnishings throughout the manor give almost every room an immediate function.
The complete map works especially well for social scenes that can turn into investigation or violence. Guests can be received in formal rooms while secrets remain only a few doors away, and the many bedrooms and side chambers create meaningful places to search without inventing generic filler. In Kingmaker's early material, the manor provides an appropriately civilized counterpoint to the wilderness that soon dominates the campaign. A GM can also reuse it as a dueling family's estate, wealthy townhouse or political residence.
