Kaldmere Haven is a small frozen woodland refuge built around an irregular blue pool surrounded by snow, rocks and sparse trees. The water creates the only strong color in an otherwise pale landscape and gives the site an immediate natural center.

For a GM, the haven can be genuinely safe or only appear that way. Characters can camp around the banks, search for something beneath the water or face a threat that uses the pool as cover or an entry point. Rocks and trees provide limited shelter while the open snow keeps most movement visible. Kaldmere Haven works as a winter oasis, enchanted spring, hidden meeting place or simple rest stop whose usefulness depends entirely on what the GM decides has found it first.
