Isrunn Ford is a cold river crossing where dark moving water cuts through snow-covered woodland. Rocks and shallow sections mark the ford while trees and banks frame the approach on both sides, giving travelers a clear route across without making the water irrelevant.

For a GM, the ford creates a natural tactical decision. Characters can cross through the shallow route, hold one bank or risk deeper water to bypass anyone controlling the obvious passage. Snowy trees provide some cover before the crossing, but movement in the river is exposed. Isrunn Ford works for patrols, pursuit, toll disputes or a winter encounter where simply reaching the opposite side is the party's immediate objective.
