About this Release
Four locations tied to Paizo's Tyrant's Grasp — a walled keep above ground and three layers of crypt, catacomb, and cavern below. Together they form a single grim descent: a fortress and the long-dead network beneath it. Run them in sequence as one delve into the dark.
Castle Fenum is a small walled compound on a muddy plot — a stone-and-timber building with bunkrooms, a flask-shaped cistern, a hedged corner, and a storeroom of toppled crates and barrels, the bodies of the fallen strewn across one room. The yard's open ground and tight interior suit a raid or a grim arrival scene.
Upper Crypts is a broad tomb hall of pale flagstones: a brazier-lit entry, a sunken black ritual square, a domed root-choked rotunda, a curtained sarcophagus chamber, and dark crawling shapes across the floor. The varied chambers make a strong opening dungeon level — eerie, spacious, and full of menace.
Catacombs is a vast circular complex of concentric rings and radiating cells, a great central gathering chamber lined with benches, a hedge-maze room, and side vaults — corpses and grave-goods scattered throughout. The ring layout funnels movement; stage a sprawling fight or a tense search through the dead.
Tyrant's Wrath is the deepest layer — raw caverns opening off worked-stone rooms, a spiraling pit shaft, a moss-floored shrine alcove, debris-choked dens, and a tiled hall with a hidden web-strewn corner. The mix of cave and ruin makes a fitting climax: exposed crossings, ambush nooks, and a long way down.
