Fido's Lil' Friends is a compact fantasy pet shop built around cages, pens and small enclosures rather than rows of ordinary merchandise. The interior accommodates everything from familiar household animals to more unusual creatures, including reptiles and even young monsters such as owlbear cubs. Work and storage areas support the practical side of feeding and caring for so many different animals.

For a GM, the shop is an unusually flexible urban encounter. Animals can become clues, distractions, companions or hazards depending on what happens around them, and the many enclosures create natural obstacles if a fight breaks out. Fido, an elderly gnome devoted to his charges, can serve as proprietor or be replaced with another eccentric animal keeper. The map works as a pet store, familiar breeder, beast-handler's business or rescue center where opening the wrong cage can change the entire scene.
