About this Release
Two distinct sites from Paizo's Tyrant's Grasp, each worn down by ruin and the weight of what's buried in it — an exposed temple plaza opening onto the wild, and a deep dark complex steeped in death.
Sun Scarab's Keep feels old and broken-open. A vast cracked flagstone terrace edges into mossy green forest, ringed by low walls and walkways, with a stepped causeway, scattered orb-topped plinths, a small shrine pavilion, and a gaping black pit torn through the floor. The mood is hushed, sunlit decay. Run it as an outdoor approach — broad open ground, the pit as the way down, cover at the plinths and walls.
Fallowdeep turns wholly grim — a sprawling dark dungeon of vaulted halls, storerooms, a great circular chamber with an altar dais, side cells and crypts, all giving way to lower vaults heaped with bones and a raw cave breaking in below. The air is cold and sepulchral. Run it as the deep crawl: the round chamber for the set-piece, the bone-choked vaults for the dread climax, the cave as a back way.
