About this Release

Deep in the drowned reaches of a tropical swamp, the Lady's Light watches over a place that has long since stopped being holy. This pack collects the haunts of a sunken, sweltering wetland — a graveyard of ships, a warren of clammy caves, a boggard village squatting at the water's edge, and a temple to a frog-goddess whose worship turned the whole basin into something foul. Run them as a single descent: each map flows into the next as the party pushes deeper toward the corrupted shrine and the broken lighthouse that gives the region its name. Murky water, low sightlines, and tight cave throats define almost every encounter here, so reward players who scout and punish those who charge.

Wreck of the Impdrake is a half-sunk hull lying flat in shallow swamp water, ribs split open and decking rotted through. The breached planks and open holds make natural chokepoints and drops, while the surrounding reeds and scattered boulders give just enough cover to stage an ambush. A good opening scene — atmospheric, claustrophobic, and easy to populate with lurkers in the murk.

Troglodyte Caves sprawl as a branching cavern complex with a lava-lit side chamber, a mossy raised island in the center, and a blood-stained nesting hollow off to the east. The layered terrain — fire, water, and high ground all in one space — makes this ideal for a dynamic fight where the party has to fight uphill and around hazards rather than trade blows in a corridor.

Cavern of Many Mouths is a winding boneyard, its floor carpeted with the remains of whatever the cave swallowed. Dark pits gape in the rock, perfect for unseen things to crawl out of. The single sinuous passage and bone-strewn ground signal danger before any creature appears — lean into the dread and let players move slowly.

Boggard Village clusters thatched huts around a central firepit, hemmed in by forest and opening onto a lake at the southern edge. The huts break sightlines into a dozen small fights, and the waterline gives aquatic defenders a way to flank. Run it as a tense infiltration or an all-out raid — the layout supports both.

Temple of Gogunta is the dark heart of the pack: a knot of branching tunnels converging on a single black, geometric shrine. The radiating passages let enemies pour in from every direction, isolating the altar chamber as a desperate last stand. Keep the focus on the shrine and let the surrounding dark do the rest.

The Lady's Light sets a toppled stone colossus in a grassy clearing where forest paths meet the churning coast. The fallen statue and its broken lantern-head make striking terrain features and a clear objective; the open ground and tree clusters offer mobile cover for a more wide-open clash than the cramped caves elsewhere.

Solifugid Nest is a pale, sprawling cavern dotted with egg clutches, a hoard of scattered treasure, and dark side-pockets where the brood waits. The open floor invites a swarm, while the burrows and gem-strewn rock give players reasons to split their attention at exactly the wrong moment.

Entrance Chamber is a rubble-choked natural passage spilling down into a clean, pillared marble hall — the threshold where the swamp ends and something older begins. The contrast does the work: a defensible flagstone room with a central pit, framed by the broken approach above. A natural staging point or boss antechamber.
