Creekside Path follows a narrow dirt trail beside a fast white-water creek, with mossy stones, low ridges, dense red and gold undergrowth, and scattered roots crowding both sides of the route. The path offers the easiest movement through the scene, but it is also the most exposed line, while the surrounding vegetation gives anyone leaving it far more concealment at the cost of speed.

For a GM, that tradeoff makes the map useful for ambushes and pursuit. Ranged attackers can fire from the brush, beasts can burst from cover, and the creek limits how easily characters can spread out or circle around a threat. The irregular trail prevents the encounter from becoming a straight corridor despite the narrow terrain. Creekside Path is a flexible random-encounter map for forest travel, tracking, hunting, escorts, or chases, especially when the terrain should reward characters who think about where they move instead of simply advancing toward the nearest enemy.
