About this Map
Pilts's Palace is a ruined theater turned into a personal court. Rows of broken seats still face a stage now serving as a crude throne area, while faded curtains, damaged balconies and improvised decorations preserve the bones of the old performance hall beneath the new occupation. Backstage spaces and side rooms give the building depth beyond the central auditorium.
In Curse of the Crimson Throne: Escape from Old Korvosa, the theatrical architecture suits a ruler who treats power as performance. For a GM, the stage becomes the obvious focal point, seating creates obstacles across the floor and balconies provide elevated positions over the audience area. A confrontation can begin as a grotesque public spectacle and spread through backstage corridors when the situation collapses. Outside the Adventure Path, the map works as an occupied theater, mad noble's court or ruined opera house repurposed by a gang or cult.
