About this Map
Deathhead Vault is an underground complex where natural caverns connect to laboratories, cells and ritual spaces built for dark experimentation. Surgical tools, restraints and work areas give the constructed rooms a clinical purpose, while burial pits and bone-lined sections expose what happened to the failures. The contrast between organized research space and raw disposal caverns makes the vault feel actively cruel rather than simply haunted.
The multi-part layout gives a GM room for an extended infiltration. Narrow passages can be defended easily, laboratories provide clutter and cover, cells create rescue objectives and the deeper burial areas shift the terrain back toward rough natural stone. In Curse of the Crimson Throne: A History of Ashes, Deathhead Vault is a secret site tied to necromantic and alchemical work. Outside the Adventure Path, it can serve as a hidden death cult laboratory, plague research complex or subterranean prison where every room reveals another stage of the same terrible process.
