Baba Lysaga's Creeping Hut is a small wooden dwelling made extraordinary by the enormous roots or legs that support it above the Berez swamp. The hut itself is cramped and cluttered, keeping any interior confrontation intimate, while the surrounding wetland leaves plenty of room for movement around the structure. Its raised, unnatural foundation makes the building the dominant object on the battlefield even though the floor plan is modest.

For a GM running Curse of Strahd, the map works best as a fight where the house is not merely scenery. Characters can approach through marshy ground, use the hut as cover and become trapped close to it when the structure moves or attacks. The contrast between a tiny domestic interior and a huge animated exterior creates two very different encounter spaces in one location. Outside Barovia, it can become any witch's mobile home, fey hut or walking shrine that turns an apparently ordinary cabin into a creature-sized threat.
