About this Map
Knight's Marvelous Menagerie spreads across market-like grounds, garden paths, pens, small structures, and interior service areas, giving the location the feel of a public attraction rather than a conventional dungeon. Hedged routes, animal enclosures, straw-covered spaces, cargo, and a striking pond divide the exterior into smaller encounter zones, while tiled rooms provide enclosed areas for staff, storage, or investigation.
For a GM, the menagerie is excellent for a scene that changes from public space to crime scene. Pens and hedges break sightlines, escaped creatures can move between enclosures, and the interior rooms let clues or victims be separated from the chaos outside. In Agents of Edgewatch's Devil at the Dreaming Palace, the location belongs to the adventure's early investigation work in Absalom. Outside that campaign it can be a traveling beast exhibition, exotic animal market, noble menagerie, festival attraction, or urban zoo where a single broken enclosure can turn the whole site into an encounter.
