About this Map

The King's Hall is a once-grand audience chamber reduced to a damaged remnant of royal authority. A broad central space leads toward the former seat of power, while surviving stonework and scattered ruin preserve the hall's ceremonial symmetry. The openness keeps the throne or focal area visible from most approaches, making any figure occupying it impossible to ignore.

In Age of Ashes: Fires of the Haunted City, the hall fits the lingering authority and ghosts of ancient Saggorak. A GM can stage a confrontation as a deliberate approach through exposed ground, use broken architecture for limited cover and let the former royal position dominate the scene even before initiative begins. Outside the campaign, the map works as a fallen throne room, ruined dwarven court or haunted royal chamber where the architecture still insists on ceremony long after the kingdom has disappeared.
