About this Map
The Haunted Halls are decayed stone corridors and chambers where the architecture of an older city remains visible beneath neglect and supernatural occupation. Broken rooms connect through short passages, and damaged sections prevent the floor plan from feeling too orderly. The map offers enough intact masonry to create recognizable rooms while leaving many corners, doorways and blind turns for threats to remain unseen.
In Age of Ashes: Fires of the Haunted City, the halls belong to Saggorak's haunted interior. For a GM, the layout supports spectral encounters especially well because enemies can appear across walls or emerge from spaces the party believed cleared, while living characters remain constrained by doors and rubble. It also works as any abandoned palace wing, cursed dwarven quarter or ruined underground residence where the threat comes from what still occupies a place everyone else left behind.
