About this Map
The Prison is a severe stone detention area built around cells, narrow passages and controlled access. Repeated barred or enclosed spaces create a clear pattern of confinement, while the limited corridors make it difficult for a large group to move without blocking one another. The architecture remains functional even in ruin, which makes every locked chamber feel like a question the characters may need to answer.
In Age of Ashes: Fires of the Haunted City, the prison suits the abandoned and haunted districts beneath Saggorak. A GM can use it for rescue, investigation or a fight in which opening cells changes the encounter one room at a time. Tight lanes favor defenders, and the cell layout makes sound travel farther than sight. Outside the Adventure Path, it works as a dwarven jail, military stockade or underground holding block where the objective is often to find the right prisoner rather than simply clear the building.
