Jewelgate Node is defined by brilliant crystal formations that rise through an alien planar landscape. Faceted structures reflect and divide the available space, creating both strong visual landmarks and physical obstacles around the node's central routes. The crystals make the site feel luminous and valuable without requiring conventional walls or buildings.

In Age of Ashes: Broken Promises, the map represents one of the portal network's distinct destinations. A GM can use large formations as cover, barriers or magical objectives, while the open spaces between them remain vulnerable to ranged attacks. Outside the campaign, it works as a crystal demiplane, magical geode or planar mining site where beauty and unstable arcane energy occupy the same battlefield.
