About this Map

The Hall of the Devouring Giants is a monumental dwarven interior whose scale survives even after damage and occupation have transformed it. Broad stone halls, heavy pillars and ancient reliefs establish the original craftsmanship, while collapsed sections and broken architecture interrupt the once-orderly routes. The rooms are large enough to accommodate giant-sized inhabitants without losing the sense of a built underground complex.

The multiple mapped sections let a GM alternate between exposed halls and narrower connections where the party can briefly regain control of the battlefield. Massive architectural features provide substantial cover, while long chambers reward creatures that can use reach and mobility. In Age of Ashes: Fires of the Haunted City, the hall belongs to the haunted depths of Saggorak; elsewhere it can become a fallen dwarven palace, giant-occupied ruin or ancient subterranean throne complex where scale itself tells players they have entered a place built for something larger than them.
