About this Map
Duskgate Node sits in perpetual twilight, with dark stone features and strange monoliths emerging through misty, subdued terrain. The low-contrast environment makes large landmarks more important than small details, while open ground between the structures leaves characters visible whenever they move away from cover.
In Age of Ashes: Broken Promises, the node is one part of the portal network and has its own distinct planar identity. For a GM, the monoliths can divide lines of sight, anchor objectives or conceal threats in the surrounding gloom. The map also works as a shadow-plane crossing, twilight ritual site or extraplanar ruin where visibility and sparse cover create tension without requiring a complicated floor plan.
