About this Map
Back Alley is a narrow urban passage squeezed between damaged stone buildings. Broken paving, rubble and hard corners interrupt the route, while the surrounding walls keep sight lines short and make it difficult to know what waits beyond the next bend. The map turns a simple shortcut into a location where a few obstacles can control movement.
In Age of Ashes: Fires of the Haunted City, the alley works naturally for ambushes and street-level exploration in a damaged settlement. A GM can place threats around corners, use doorways and debris as cover or turn the passage into a chase where characters cannot simply run in a straight line. Outside the Adventure Path, it is a flexible city encounter map for thieves, undead, guards or any confrontation that benefits from cramped urban geometry rather than an open square.
