Alesta's Landing is a small platform suspended at the edge of an immense planar void, providing only a fragile patch of stable ground between one realm and the next. Constructed surfaces and limited walkways stand in sharp contrast to the empty space surrounding them, so every edge matters and there is little room to disengage once an encounter begins.

In Age of Ashes: Broken Promises, the landing functions as part of the interconnected portal network. A GM can use it as an arrival point, transition or defensive position where forced movement is immediately dangerous. The map also works as an astral dock, floating gate platform or extraplanar staging area whenever the party needs to feel that the safe ground beneath them is temporary and very small compared with what lies beyond it.
